Who we are

C U THERE is a community project in Riga, Latvia. Contact: info@cuthere.lv.

What we collect and why

  • Join form: your email address and the role you choose (supporter, or seeking support). We use them only to reply to you and to stay in touch about C U THERE. We also record the time of your request and the country it came from (provided by Cloudflare), so we can spot abuse.
  • Emails you send us: we use them to reply.

We don't use your data for advertising, we don't sell it, and we never pass it to iGaming operators or other funders.

Legal basis

You asked us to contact you. We rely on our legitimate interest in replying to you and staying in touch (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time, and we will delete your details.

Who processes the data for us

Cloudflare (website hosting, the Join form and email delivery) and Google (Gmail, where we receive sign-ups). These providers may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Their transfer arrangements are described in Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum and Google's data transfer frameworks. You can ask us for details at info@cuthere.lv.

How long we keep it

We keep your sign-up and our emails while we handle your request and any follow-up we agreed with you. When that is finished, or when you ask, we delete them, unless the law requires us to keep a particular record.

The website

The site does not use analytics or advertising cookies, and its fonts are served from our own site. It remembers your language choice in your browser (local storage), and that information stays on your device. Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver and protect the site.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to info@cuthere.lv. You can also complain to Latvia's Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija), www.dvi.gov.lv.

Changes

If anything changes, we will update this page and its date.
